The 2024 Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo Contest will begin with the Poise, Personality & Appearance portion of the contest, which includes modeling, impromptu questions, and reciting of a cowboy poem. Horsemanship will follow immediately after, consisting of rail work (equitation), execution of a reining pattern, and a queen salute.  Note: Contest schedule and location may change due to rain.  

The 2024 Woodlake Lions Rodeo festivities will kick-off with the annual Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo Coronation, steak dinner, and dancing!

The 4th Annual High-Five Rodeo will be held in conjunction with Media Day at the Woodlake Lions Rodeo Grounds.

Before the first bronc bucks in the 2024 rodeo arena, rodeo fans will gather in Downtown Woodlake for the annual Woodlake Rodeo Parade!  The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, with the 2024 Grand Marshals, Manuel & Olga Jimenez, 2024 Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo, Katie Donnelly, and local organizations, school bands, youth sports teams, businesses, and city representatives celebrating Woodlake's western heritage and hospitality!  

The 69th Annual Woodlake Lions Rodeo action will start at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024!  Gates will open at 11 a.m. so you can bring your family and friends to the "America's Most Beautiful Rodeo Grounds" for our famous Deep-Pit BBQ lunch before the rodeo, shop with our vendors, and enjoy pre-show entertainment.  This year's specialty acts include world-renown trick roper and  California's own Spencer Rose, the Flying Cowboys and their daredevil motocross tricks, and PRCA Barrelman, Dalton Morris!

After the Saturday performance of the Woodlake Lions Rodeo, head on up to the Woodlake Lions' Party Barn for The After Party!  Our hometown rodeo cowboy, Justin Lawrence & the Double Average Band will be hitting the stage with our concert entertainment, along with DJ music throughout the night by DJ  Double LL! 

Enjoy some cold adult beverages, and dance the night away!  21 and over only, and free with paid rodeo admission.

Woodlake Lions Rodeo is a Mother's Day Tradition!  Bring your mom for Sunday, May 12, 2024 as we celebrate Mother's Day with edge-of-the-seat rodeo action, and our Fiesta Day!  The rodeo will start at 1:30 p.m., with gates opening  at 11 a.m. Come up to "America's Most Beautiful Rodeo Grounds" for our famous Deep-Pit BBQ lunch before the rodeo, shop with our vendors, and enjoy pre-show entertainment by local drill teams.  This year's specialty acts include world-renown trick roper and  California's own Spencer Rose, the Flying Cowboys and their daredevil motocross tricks, and PRCA Barrelman, Dalton Morris! Sunday is also Fiesta Day, with a special performance by the local charra group, Escaramuza Valle Real!
