2026 Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo, Jr. Queen & Princess Contest
Saturday, April 18, 2026, 9:30 a.m.
Woodlake Lions Rodeo Grounds
The 2026 Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo Contest will begin with the Poise, Personality & Appearance portion of the contest, which includes modeling, impromptu questions, and reciting of a cowboy poem. Horsemanship will follow immediately after, consisting of rail work (equitation), execution of a reining pattern, and a queen salute. Note: Contest schedule and location may change due to rain.
The Woodlake Lions Rodeo Jr. Queen and Princess contests will also be held in conjunction with the Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo contest!

The 2026 Woodlake Lions Rodeo festivities will kick-off with the annual Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo Coronation, the inaugural Woodlake Lions Rodeo Princess and Tiny Princess coronation, steak dinner, and dancing!

Tickets are limited and will be availalbe for purchase in April 2026 any Woodlake Lions Club Member or at the Woodlake Drive-In.
High-Five Rodeo & Media Day

The 6th Annual High-Five Rodeo will be held in conjunction with Media Day at the Woodlake Lions Rodeo Grounds.

The Woodlake Lions Rodeo is hosting a Kick-Off Open Barrel Race on Friday, May 8, 2026! The race will start at 5 p.m., and is open to Leadline, Pee Wee, Youth and Open divisions! Entries will open via Saddlebook on April 1st. Food and beer booths will be open for competitors and spectators. ​

Downtown Woodlake
Before the first bronc bucks in the 2026 rodeo arena, rodeo fans will gather in Downtown Woodlake for the annual Woodlake Rodeo Parade! The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, with the 2026 Grand Marshals, 2026 Miss Woodlake Lions Rodeo and her court, and local organizations, school bands, youth sports teams, businesses, and city representatives celebrating Woodlake's western heritage and hospitality!

The 71st Annual Woodlake Lions Rodeo action will start at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026! Gates will open at 12 p.m. so you can bring your family and friends to the "America's Most Beautiful Rodeo Grounds" for our famous Deep-Pit BBQ lunch before the rodeo, shop with our vendors, and enjoy pre-show entertainment. Three-time PRCA Announcer of the Year, Anthony Lucia, will be the man behind the mic once again this year!

After the Saturday performance of the Woodlake Lions Rodeo, head on up to the Woodlake Lions' Party Barn for The After Party presented by Michelob Ultra! This year's featured concert entertainment is The Josh Day Band, with DJ music by DJ Double L!
Enjoy some cold adult beverages, grab a taco from the Las Espuelas Taco Truck, and dance the night away! 21 and over only, and free with paid rodeo admission.

Woodlake Lions Rodeo is a Mother's Day Tradition! Bring your mom for Sunday, May 10, 2026 as we celebrate Mother's Day with edge-of-the-seat rodeo action, and our Fiesta Day! The rodeo will start at 3 p.m., with gates opening at 12 p.m. Come up to "America's Most Beautiful Rodeo Grounds" for our famous Deep-Pit BBQ lunch before the rodeo, shop with our vendors, and enjoy pre-show entertainment by local drill teams. Three-time PRCA Announcer of the Year, Anthony Lucia, will be the man behind the mic again this year! Sunday is also Fiesta Day, with a special performance by a local Escaramuza charra group!
